Sara Corning – A Canadian Hero

In 1919, a middle-aged nurse from Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, strode into the mayhem of war—now recognized as the Armenian Genocide—and earned the enduring gratitude of a nation.

The Sara Corning Society is dedicated to commemorating this remarkable woman and her humanitarian work.
